Oktoberfest
Munich is well-known for its famous Oktoberfest, the biggest People's Fair in the World. One might expect it to be in Oktober. But in fact, Oktoberfest opens it doors in September. The opening is celebrated by a huge parade all through Munich with almost 8,000 participants wearing traditional Bavarian dresses, and over 2,000 musicians marching with their bands.
This year, the Oktoberfest will open on September, 19th - the day after DocEng09. We are glad to announce that we hold reservations for seats in one of the most vibrant Oktoberfest tents on Sunday afternoon. Do not miss this unique possibility to attend the Oktoberfest - a visit there is unforgettable.
The tickets will cost around 24EUR/34USD (including two glasses of beer, and one chicken), and have to be paid during the conference. Order the ticket via e-mail at the conference organizer.
