Student Travel Award

SIGWEB has approved US$5000 in funding for Student Travel Awards at
DocEng 2009. The money is intended for students who are first authors
and who will present their papers at DocEng. The amount of funding per
person will depend on the number of qualifying authors. Students with
long distance travel and students who are authors of full-length papers
will get more money than students coming from Europe and authors of
short papers. The application form can be downloaded as [PDF] or as [DOC]. Please send your application before July, 20. The decision will be taken by August, 3. Student AccommodationStudents will have the opportunity to get an accommodation free of charge. We will provide 10 places on a dormitory site located on our campus. They are only available during the DocEng, there is no possibility to extend during the week-end. Please contact the Local Organizer if you are interested in this opportunity. |
